Insertion rubber is predominantly used as a water seal and to protect against mild chemicals.
Insertion rubber has a shore hardness of 65° ± 5° and consists of a smooth finish on both sides. It is also reinforced with a nylon fabric mesh to prevent stretch and provide added strength. Insertion rubbers durability makes it ideal for a number of key industries, including industrial, commercial vehicle and construction, for a variety of solutions. Providing good sealing (water ingress/dust/air), excellent abrasion resistance and exceptional mechanical strength. However, Insertion rubber is not recommended for use with oils and petro-chemicals.
- Excellent sealing properties (air, dust and water migration)
- Good tensile strength
- Good abrasion resistance
- Good temperature resistance -30°C up to +70°C
