Ramsay Achieves IATF16949 Certification

Ramsay are pleased to announce, that we have successfully completed our IATF16949 automotive quality assessment, replacing TS16949. We would like to congratulate Jim Perry (Quality Manger) and his team for there continued hard work. The assessment demonstrates our continued commitment to the automotive industry. For more than 25 years, Ramsay has supplied global automotive sealing to OEMs and Tiers 1-3 manufacturing high performance light weight solutions. We also provide NVH, thermal and acoustic product solutions, across all platforms and systems.

Ramsay are currently accredited with IATF16949, ISO14001 and ISO9001.Our products are supplied in a condition of supply that complement our customer’s process/assembly requirements, with product development and technical support from our project management team with full APQP, FMEA planning and PPAP approval.

TS16949 to IATF16949

First developed in 1999, ISO/TS 16949 has become one of the most prestigious standards in the automotive industry to date. TS16949 was created by IATF in conjunction with ISOs technical committee for quality management. IATF16949 will now supersede TS16949 and it is a revision has been introduced to evolve quality standards, create better synergy within the supply chain, whilst setting high standards for improved quality products.  To find out more regarding the transition visit BSIs (British Standard Institutions) website.
