Non-Woven Insulation

Non-woven insulation materials are excellent for NVH (noise vibration harshness) and acoustic solutions. Non-woven is an extremely lightweight fabric-like material made from staple fibre (short) and long fibres (continuous long), bonded together by chemical, mechanical, heat or solvent treatment. Ramsay Rubber are a leading UK manufacturer of non-woven insulation products, supplying NVH and acoustic solutions worldwide.

With full conversion capabilities, from material slitting, adhesive laminating, die cutting, CNC machining, fabrication and assembly. We can offer a variety of customer specific non-woven insulation products, in a wide range of shapes, sizes and thicknesses. All our non-woven insulation products are manufactured at our site in Bilston, based in the West Midlands.

Due to our material slitting capabilities, we can offer our customers a range of non-woven insulation thicknesses. We also stock a wide range of acrylic and synthetic rubber tapes, which enables us to manufacture self-adhesive non-woven insulation products, custom-made for bespoke applications.

Non-Woven Insulation Material

Non-woven insulation materials excel extremely well in relation to NVH, acoustic and thermal control, due to the material’s mechanical properties. At Ramsay we stock non-woven rolls. This allows us to offer our customers thicknesses of between 1mm – 20mm
